Sarah & Zee | Equestrian Portrait Session | Argyle, Texas

In all the hustle and bustle of 2019, I’ve fallen way behind on blogging! Now that I’m finally settled in Oklahoma City, I’m catching up on past sessions in between capturing new portraits and creating helpful content for you to enjoy!

Meet Sarah and her sweet training project Im Potentially Lazy (AQHA), better known as “Zee.” Sarah’s session was mainly about sale/performance images to help her advertise Zee for sale, but we couldn’t resist spending a little time on cute, cuddly portraits together.

This isn’t the first sale horse I’ve photographed for Sarah—meet Gabe here—and all her boys have turned out to be the quietest, gentlest young horses I’ve ever met!

Zee was recently purchased by a new rider, and Sarah is busy preparing for the arrival of her first child (undoubtedly an amazing rider in the making), but their time together is forever preserved in these portraits. Hopefully someday Sarah will use them to tell her little one about that big, kind Quarter Horse gelding she once got to love.
